In a powerful response to the escalating crisis of drug addiction and the critical need for CPR knowledge, Xavier’s College, Mumbai, hosted a landmark event organized by Arham Bhansali, founder of Yuva Maitri Organization; Dr. Gautam Bhansali’s Golden Hour Foundation, and AnuVibha Elevate Program. With over 500 students in attendance, the event shone a spotlight on these urgent issues, emphasizing that drug addiction now claims over 750,000 lives annually worldwide. In a country where 10% of cardiac arrests occur outside of hospitals, the CPR training provided was a lifeline. The event was a resounding success, underscoring the crucial need for awareness and preparedness among today’s youth.
