We are here to empower young people to overcome the challenges they face in today’s world, such as drug addiction, mental health, gender inequality, and social exclusion. We believe that youth are the driving force for change, and we want to support them in their journey of personal and social transformation. At Yuva Maitri, we offer various programs and activities that aim to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence of youth. We also provide a platform for youth to express their views, opinions, and aspirations, and to engage in constructive dialogue and action with other stakeholders. Recognizing the detrimental effects of excessive screen time, we advocate for digital detox practices and promote healthier offline lifestyles.

We advocate for the rights and acceptance of LGBTQ+ individuals, fostering an inclusive society where everyone can live authentically and without fear of discrimination.
YUVAMAITRI aims to bridge the digital divide by providing digital literacy programs, empowering individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the digital age.
We work to destigmatize menstruation, promote access to menstrual hygiene products, and provide education on reproductive health and hygiene for girls and women.
We advocate for environmental conservation, sustainable practices, and climate action, empowering individuals and communities to mitigate the impacts of climate change and build a more sustainable future for all.

We are The Yuva Maitri Organisation, an organization “for the youth, by the youth.” We were founded in 2023 by a group of young people who wanted to make a positive impact in their society. We were inspired by the vision of Positive Youth Development, a framework that recognizes the potential and value of youth as agents of change. Our mission is to empower youth to overcome the challenges they face in today’s world, and to enable them to contribute to the development and peace of their society. Our vision is to create a world where youth are respected, valued, and included, and where they can realise their full potential and aspirations. We work with youth from different backgrounds, cultures, and communities, and we respect and celebrate their diversity and uniqueness. We also collaborate with various partners, such as government agencies, non-governmental organisations, schools, and private sector, who share our goals and values.
We put the needs and interests of youth at the centre of everything we do. We listen to their voices, respect their choices, and support their initiatives.
We help youth to discover and develop their strengths, skills, and talents. We encourage them to take charge of their lives and to pursue their goals and dreams.
We strive to deliver high-quality programs and services to youth. We adhere to the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and transparency in our work.

Yuva Maitri is an initiative founded by high school student Arham Bhansali to look into, tackle, and raise awareness
regarding youth-related issues present today. Our workshops and webinars consist of panel discussions with experts
